MaBill- Monster Chapter 2

"His little whispers, 'Love me, love me! That's all I ask for, love me, love me!"
Mabel's POV
Okay, I'm not ducktective, but I know I heard a cough and it is too deep to be an animal's. Bill. "Bill, get back here right now!" I said, trying my hardest to sound threatening. Didn't work, but he DID show himself. 
Bill's POV
Yep..... I knew it..... haha of course I did! Well, all I can do is come out. "Pssh, okay mom." I said sarcastically as I came out, which made Mabel seem somewhat disappointed that her threatening voice didn't work. "You seriously shouldn't try to sound threatening. IT DOESN'T WORK." At this point, she forgot about the threat. 
"Why are you here?"
I blushed, looking away.
"NOT ANOTHER PERSON WHO HAS MAGIC!"
"Wait, Shooting Star, I could, uhh, probably keep that Gideon kid away from you." I said, hoping she would say yes.
"Ummm.... okay?" 
Aww man, she doesn't trust me. I guess I SHOULD have expected this but still.....
